Does the thought of a cassette tape arouse longings for the days of recording songs off the radio, or the lost art of knowing exactly how long to keep press the “rewind” key to restart your favorite track (side 2 track 3, perhaps?)?
London-based artist Yibi Hu of M-I-E studios indulges our nostalgia with his short film Jammed. Read more about his work and inspiration here.

Travesias de Luz’s Floating Lights installation for La Fête des Lumières 2012 combines those distant childhood memories of pool days and sun screen with memories of that less-distant teenage rave stage with glow sticks and lollipops (that’s a thing, right?). The combination of the two leaves viewers with light-up pool toys fit for The Jetsons. Check out the whole story here.
