From just three simple lines artist Mike Creighton renders complex and detailed topographic landscapes. In his generative art series Line Topography he samples three horizontal scanlines to acquire three lines to draw with explaining that, after choosing color palettes, he then uses these as a “brush” to create the basic structure of his images through a custom app created in Processing.
